NEW ZEALAND

I always wanted to travel through time yet, ironically, my destination would rather I took time to travel: I set foot in Auckland airport with bags under my eyes, fed up, dragging my luggage full of time zones and date changes. I'm lost. My watch tells the time in Madrid, where today is yesterday. On my hand, the times in London and Los Angeles are jotted down: a 600-minute time difference between their airports. Out of the 28 hours I have spent in the clouds, traveling the 12,168 miles west towards the Antipodes.
